The first time I went to Italy (1997), I was not wild about it. I think most of that had to do with the fact that we went to Rome, Florence, Naples, and Pisa—all major tourist cities. I returned in 2010, found the village in which my grandparents were born, and fell in love with Italy. That's a lie. I became obsessed with Italy and with my Italian heritage. I've returned every year since and have spent time getting to know the towns, the people, and the language. It's been a love affair that will not leave me.

After reading about my adventures, a few of my friends asked if I would take them with me. I thought that they were joking. They weren't. I love sharing Italy and now take small groups to introduce Italy to them. If you are interested in the adventure of a lifetime, let me know. Italy is waiting for you to fall in love with her.

I love places that have an incredible history. I love the Italian way of life. I love the food. I love the people. I love the attitudes of Italians.
